The interview of Yasin Temizkan, Consul General of Turkish Republic was misinterpreted in media. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Georgia, Zeki Levent Gümrükçü declared this in connection with recent remark about Turkish schools in Georgia in conversation with Gigi Gigiadze, Deputy Foreign Minister.

He noted that in any case they did not tell that those pupils who are studying in these (Turkish financed schools) are trained for terroristic activity. This is a total misunderstanding. From the other side Envoy tells that they are concerned with the international terroristic activity of Fethullah Gulen and his ties with schools that he finances around the world.

For information, Yasin Temizkan, Consul General of Turkish Republic declared that in Ajara region schools are, that are serving not for educational purposes of youth generation but for its training and have ties with terrorist formations.

"Those people are strengthening its positions through educational establishments. They are preparing generations that are serving not for the government but to the terrorist organist ions. Unfortunately in Ajara are such schools, one of them is the lyceum in Batumi Refaiddin Sahin Friendship school. I am calling the Ajara population, the Georgian people to refrain from educating children in such schools, because these schools are a terrorist group formation's ones'." - Consul General of Turkish Republic tells.
