National rugby team is waiting for a new coach after the Georgian Rugby Federation (GRF) dismissed the former coach, Tim Lane from the position. The contract with the Australian coach was ceased earlier than the term of its expiration.
The president of the GRF, Irakli Nizharadze explained the reasons of the decision at the news conference today. He said Tim Lane failed to fulfil the key term of the contract - to improve the sort of the team playing and work with teams of various age groups.
`Tim Lane is no longer the coach of the national team. It was a very difficult decision, because he was dismissed from very good state of the team, but the key demand of the contract was not fulfilled,` Nizharadze explained.
It has been already reported that the most feasible candidate of the new coach of the rugby team is Richey Dixon, the current consultant of the team.
