Giorgi Margvelashvili, Georgian President being with official visit in Slovenia tells this visit was staring a new stage in Georgia-Slovenian relations.
"I would like to tell that Slovenia always was strongly supporting Georgia in important strategic questions. Such as are our territorial integrity and state sovereignty. Our choice for aspiration to European and Euro Atlantic institutions. But I have to say that many other spheres do exist for our active cooperation.
In the area of defense Slovenia made a statement in favor of our country. Also we have a big potential in economic and cultural areas."
Margvelashvili has invited Slovenian President to visit our country. The high level visit will be paid in turn by Slovenian counterpart. This visit will make a big contribution for deepening of relations between Georgia and Slovenia and for the cooperation at international arena.
