Serzh Sargsyan, the third and current President of Armenia called the attackers at police station to surrender and release of hostages. The BBC informs this first comment was made by a President after his five-days silence.
He is about to develop the events in the country in strickest accordance to the constitution. All attempts for retribution will be prevented under the law. "Our country undergoes now very hard days. I cannot talk now about the grounds, the times will come for this. The only thing I can state now, this case will be a good lesson for us." - Sargisian tells.
