The 37% of Georgian population thinks that a main obstacle for free and fair elections an inducement of population is. The NDI report published today on the opinion poll conducted by, reads about this.
The percentage indicators were distributed in a following range to the question: "What a main obstacle is for free and fear elections in Georgia, if any?":
37% of people are telling such obstacle a bribery is, an inducement of the population. 32% tells the reason was an oppressing of the electorate and political parties activity. 15% of questioned people responded, the reason is problems with the electorate list. 15% of people tells the "carusels" are reasons for this, fake elections. More 15% are telling an excessive number of bulletins in the elections boxes, 13% tell unfair spending of money from budget for elections process, 10% of people are telling forced participation in a voting from the employees.
The poll was conducted at the field throughout the Georgia (except of the occupied territories) in a period of time between June 6 to July 8. The face-to-face interviews were taken on a selective basis mainly among young people.
