Forreign Minister of France, Bernard Kouchner arrived in Tbilisi late last night. The plane of the French diplomat landed in the Tbilisi airport at 09:30, where Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze greeted him. French ambassador to Georgia, Eric Fournier was in the airport too.
From airport, the minister headed to the Presidential Palace in Avlabari district, where the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili and other authorities greeted the guest with a cake and firework on the Peace Bridge dedicated to the Independence Day of France.
