Levan Isoria, newly appointed Defense Minister will serve with two deputies. Lela Chikovani will be his first deputy and another one will be Nukri Gelashvili.
Chikovani for the last year served at the state security service, and Gelashvili from 2012 up to the present was a head of the Interior Ministry's Academy.
The criticism towards Isoria touched an issue, that for the post of Defense Minister, not a security service cadres are to be appointed but a politician. He responded to the critics, assuring the audience, that is not principles like many politicians are, and has a managerial experience too. At the same time he tells he is a politician.
