The Georigan-Ossetian conflict became a consequence of the destructive policy of the Georigan authorities. Patriarch Kirill of all Russia said in Monday. The Ria Novosti informed that being in the Russian town Vitebsk he answered the questions of youth, - the news agency GHN reports.
"I am sure that this war was a consequence of the destructive policy of the Georigan administration.
I am saying this with the love and close feelings to the Georigan people and to the Georigan Church, " - Patriarch Kirill said. At the same time he noted that at the time of battles from the very beginig of the war the Russian and Georigan churches were in "constant contact" and they managed to help the needy people and at this stage the Orthodox Churches of Georiga and Russia are the only tyes for the connection between these two countries.
According to the words of Patriarch the efforts of both Churches are directed to the overcoming of the
consequences of "terrible catastrophe". He said that both Churches are faithful to its mission and made every effort to prevent the conflict. They did not receded before the hard circumstances
