French Foreign Minister opened a meeting with public figures and politicians in the Europe House today with his speech. `Georgian people should not think that France has abandoned you,` Kouchner said and added that France and the Europan Union stood beside Georgia and this support would continue.
`France will never forget August 2008 war and we `ll never forget the six-point ceasefire agreement. We`ll our best to convince Russia to puu out its forces from Georgian territory,` Kouchner said.
According to French diplomat, it was very important that the European Monitors were allowed to fulfil their mission on whole territory of the country.
`Georgian government states it clear that no resolution of conflicts are possible via military means and that negotiations are necessary,`Kouchner announced. He also added that intensificaton of civil society and intensification of dialogue with Ossetian and Abkhaz people was inevitable to for conflict resolution.
The meeting is held in question and answer regime. Representatives of various opposition parties are participating in the debates.
