Giorgi Margvelashvili, Georgian President appointed an early elections for October 8. The decree of the President on this matter is already issued. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister already approved the decree of the President.
On August 19 of 2016 the Georgian President issued a decree No 19/01/01 for early elections of governors in Bolnisi, Zugdidi, Tslenjikha, Chiatura and Kharagauli municipalities, the statement of the President's Administration reads.
The early elections were preconditioned by the fact of participation of governors and a Mayor in Parliamentary elections. The same day the Parliamentary elections will be conducted too.
