The initiative for the block-less status was very interesting for Russian Federation, Nino Burjanadze, leader of the Democratic Movement tells. Being with the visit in Moscow Burjanadze met with Sergey Yevgenyevich Naryshkin, Chair of the State Duma. Burjanadze assures that Chair of the State Duma is ready to hold a fair dialogue for resolution of problems between Russia and Georgia.
"We talked about changed geopolitical situation, in a region, about the current events in a world. Naturally we talked about the problems with Georgia and sharpest unresolved situation. We talked about a block-less status. Very big interest was shown to this initiative. This was a very interesting novelty for Russian politicians. They agreed that this question may resolve many problems and open new possibilities for Russian-Georgian relations. " - Burjanadze tells.
