In the first six month of 2016 the foreign trade turnover amounted to USD 6 548 million. This figure higher for 17%. The export reached USD 1122 million (for 12% less) and import was USD 5426 million (for 25% less). The Georgian Statistics Agency informs that in this period the import of medications for C hepatitis was performed, and the import excluding it, amounts to USD 3 869 million (for 6% less than previous year of the same period).
The negative trade turnover balance in the first half of the current year was USD 4 304 million, and the foreign trade turnover reached 66%. The export without re-export reached USD 898 million this time.
