On August 20 of 2016, The Counterintelligence Department of the State Security Service detained 5 persons for group terrorist act attempt, and for illegal purchasing of the explosive substances.
The investigation detected, persons were trying to explode the open part of the Russian -Armenian gas pipeline near the village Saguramo.
Moreover, for the abuse of power one patrol police officer detained , and a citizen for concealing of the fact of a crime.
The investigation conducted by the counterintelligence service of the State Security. The criminal liability for thesse persons will be followed under the articles of the GCC: 18-323, part I; 3231 part I; 25-3231 part I, 236, part II, 332 and 376, the State Security Service informed at the briefing.
