Aleko Eliasashvili, the independent MP of the Tbilisi City Assembly responded to the initiative of the City Hall for purchasing of new busses. He published at his Face Book wall, this initiative was a very timely decision. However, he climes the number of busses - 143, would satisfy only a quarter of current traffic demands in the City.
"This, good news are. The cargo with 10 busses already undergo customs procedures. For this time the city needs 512 busses. I am praising the City Hall for the second time this week. We need more 400 busses, like this. I myself prefer tramways, but still, such new busses are for big facilitation for our city, " Aleko wrote.
