Bacho Akhalaia, former Defense Minister takes part in court trials against him on case of Sergo Tetradze's torture. Today on the ground of mediation, the Prosecution initiated to close the trial in absence of a witness, former head of the Military Police Levan Zaqradze. He is to be questioned by investigative bodies concerning secret information.
Defense Lawyers disagreed on this matter with the court procedures, as far they believe that evidence that is to be given by Zaqradze does not contain any secret information.
Together with Bacho Akhalaia on this case accused persons are Megiz Qardava and Nikoloz Zimcheishvili.
