He talked about a President's decision to impose criminal sanctions for economic wrongs committed for sum of money level upper than GEL 50 000, namely from 100 000. As he tells this a very useful decision is for promoting our business.
He tells we need to establish favorable conditions for business, by changing our legislation. "Themes touching decriminalization in business were up to date for some period of time in the past, but now the market increased, and we need to revise such questions in our legislation. The decriminalizing components must be stronger." - Kalandadze tells.
He added that such initiatives might be implemented earlier, but it is not too late to do this now. The question very complex is and needs appropriate work out.
He underlined as well that some laws need to be amended to make them in accordance with the current challenges. Outdated legislation is hindering to the economic development of our country.
"Also some classifications in the legislation should be revised, as sanctions for avoiding of taxes and for hiding the taxes are the same. In this view such themes must be divided. We need to conduct business-oriented policy. In such case the business environment will be much more attractive for foreign investors."
