Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergey Tigipko is holding official meetings in Georgia today.
Tigipko laid wreath at the monument of Taras Shevchenko before official meetings.
In the framework of the visit he met with Georgian Minister of Finance Kakha Baindurashvili and Speaker of the Parliament Davit Bakradze.
Sergey Tigipko held the meeting in the governmental chancellery with Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri.
Ukraine is satisfied with economic reforms carried out in Georgia,' - Nika Gilauri stated about it after the end of the meeting.
‘Main task of the visit is to share Georgia's experience of reforms. We spoke about fight against corruption, reform in the Ministry of Finance, new tax code. New wave of reforms start in Ukraine and Georgian experience is important for them,' - Gilauri stated.
The Prime Minister states that political and economic relations continue to develop between Ukraine and Georgia.
Vice Prime Minister also will meet President of National Bank Giorgi Kadagidze. Sergey Tigipko will visit Batumi as well in the frameworks of the visit and leave Georgia on July 18. He arrived in Tbilisi last night.
