Eleven people have died in the bus, which fell in the ravine close to the Rokki Tunnel. The bus was travelling from Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia, to the occupied Tskhinvali Region via Transcaucasia highway. There were 25 people including the driver in the bus. Two of the accident victims are children. Twelve passengers have been hospitalized with serious injuries. All passengers were identified a few hours after the tragedy; most of them are the citizens of the Russian Federation, only few are the residents of Tskhinvali Region.
Russian militia has begun the investigation and arrested the driver, who might have violated the driving rules.
Tskhinvali puppet regime plans to hold the session of the government in Tskhinvali today to discuss the details of the accident. The regime has already promised the families of the victims to pay compensations to them.
