Today, approximately at 02:00 am four masts of high voltage power transmission line "Qartli 2" situated in vicinities of the village of Tsaghvlevi, district Khashuri were damaged as a result of explosion.
Trotyle made clockwork explosive device was attached on masts which were damaged as a result of bomb activation.
Employees of Forensic Division along with sappers and officers of Shida kartli Regional Police Division of the Ministry of interior as well as representatives from EU observation mission to Georgia have already arrived at the place of incident.
After mine-clearing measures were finished it became possible to start reconstruction activities to restore power transmission line.
Investigation was already launched regarding the above mentioned incident, which was qualified as the act of terrorism. The investigation is in progress.
