The health condition of Saba Benidze, a 9-year-old child, who was injured in a car accident in Georgia's western town of Poti, remains critical.
The child was hit by an "Opel" mark of a car, when he was crossing the road at Marjanishvili Street in Poti on July 19. Presumably, driving at a high speed became reason of the accident.
Benidze is a local of Kutaisi, administrative capital of Georgia's Imereti region. He was in Poti to participate in Nana Aleksandria's Chess Festival.
The child was transported to Kutaisi and placed at Kutaisi Center for Mothers and Children.
