The investigation department of the Ministry of Finance has arrested a citizen of Lithuania, Benjaminas Yanushaitis. The foreign citizen is suspected of forging tax documents and issuing counterfeit invoices.
Yanushaitis had founded an Azartotech ltd registered in Georgia, which imported slot machines in Georgia and earned money by giving them for rent to slot houses.
The investigation found out that the businessman issued the invoices, in which the real cost of the rent was reduced. The suspect was caught red-handed, when he wrote 640 GEL rent cost instead of 4046, instead he took 1800 GEL from the entrepreneur.
