The Ministry of IDPs and Resettlement begins the registration of Chechen refugees residing in Georgia. According to the recent data, the number of the Chechen refugees reduced during the past few years. Their exact number will be determined after the obligatory registration, which begins today.
The registration will last three months and it will be conducted in various regions of Georgia. If any of the Chechen residents fails to undergo registration, the deadline will be postponed with one month.
