Minister of Economics and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia announced openings at the positions of department chairpersons in the ministry. Kobalia said the vacancies emerged after the structural reorganization in the ministry.
`We are announcing openings at the ministry on the following positions - the chairpersons of the department of legal issues, administration, department of finance, state procurement and logistics, the department of state property management policy, communications department, IT and Innovations Department`s postal connection division and the department of the division for relations with territorial branches of the privatization department,` Vera Kobalia said.
He said the Ministry`s new policy would follow the principle of zero nepotism and no relative links would allow anyone to appoint people to any position.
`We will accept people who want to contribute to the economic development of the country, because we have our goals to strengthen economics, tourism, small business and attract more investments,` Minister announced.
She also said the competition was announced for the position of the tourism department chairperson, which will be appointed until August 5.
