General, public discussions on the Constitution's new model will be launched starting today.
The commission has been set up for filling the flaws and organizing open discussions on the draft document of the Constitution. The commission is staffed by MPs, experts and representatives of executive government and is headed up by Parliament Speaker Davit Bakradze.
The commission members are expected to hold meetings with various public groups. The new Constitution is expected to be activated in 2011, as for amendments with respect to president's authorities, will be set into power in 2013.
