Baroness Catherine Ashton, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union will deliver a report on her recent visit to Georgia at the meeting of the EU foreign ministers. The session will be held today.
Georgian ambassador to EU and Benelux states, Salome Samadashvili has assessed the fact that the EU ministers will discuss the issue of Georgia at today`s session as very important. `Considering that the agenda is overloaded and the minister will hear the report on Georgia, we can say that the interest towards Georgia is great,` Samadashvili said.
In addition, the EU ministers will also discuss the report on the results of the work regarding the Georgia`s associated membership to EU.
