In Vinnitsa region (central Ukraine), law enforcers arrested a 50-year resident of Moldova wanted by Interpol, who in 2003 escaped from prison and was hiding under an assumed name, informs GHN referring to UKRINFORM.
According to the officer of the regional sector of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau, Vasyl Pankevych, the man was arrested on suspicion of theft from the store.
Then he introduced himself as Nikolay Khodyrev, a resident of the Kirov region of Russia, but he had no identity documents.
It was found that the detainee is a citizen of Moldova, Peter Golub, who had been seven times tried in the territory of Moldova, Ukraine and Russia.
