`All parties of the Geneva negotiations should act in accord for the protection of the right of free movement in the occupied Abkhazia and South Ossetia,` the communiqué adopted by the participants of the Geneva discussions says. According to the document, despite kidnappings and detentions, general situation in the occupied territories is stable.
Russian side expressed its protest to the decision of the international talks to put forth the report about the conditions of the IDPs in the occupied territories in the agenda of the UN.
It should be noted that despite the warning of the Abkhazian puppet regime leader, Sergey Baghapsh that they would boycott the Geneva talks, the delegation of the separatist regime attended the discussion.
OSCE delegation emphasized the importance of the work of Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism group. The statement released by the organization says that the problems of the local population should be solved along with wide range of humanitarian issues, which is possible only after intensive meetings and discussions without preconditions.
The next round of negotiations in Geneva will be held in October 14.
