A container full with plutonium has been discovered in Tbilisi. The container was held in the depository of the Tbilisi Isotope Institute, the staff of which informed the Nuclear and Radioactive Security Department of the Ministry of Environment of Georgia immediately.
The container was covered with a thick layer of wax and the registration document says that it was delivered to the institute in 1968.
The Ministry authorities say they have already reported about the plutonium container to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
