Ukraine will help Russia in fighting fires and overcoming their consequences, the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Viktor Yanukovych and Dmitry Medvedev, agreed during a telephone conversation on Sunday night, informs GHN referring to UKRINFORM.
Yanukovych has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Defense, other central executive authorities to take all necessary measures to assist Russia in overcoming the disaster.
Similar instructions were given to the heads of the Ukrainian regions bordering on Russia.
