International Court of Justice has appointed a hearing of Georgia`s action against Russia on the war in August 2008. The hearing will be held on Septermber 13-17, 2010 and it implies several stages.
The lawsuit brought by Georgia against Russia in court in Hague refers the actions and ethnic cleansings carried out by Russia against Georgian citizens in August 2008.
`Hearing of the legal action against Russia brought by Georgia will start on September 13 and it will last foe a week. The Georgian as well as the Russian side will be able to present their own arguments and views to the court. Georgian brought the lawsuit against Russia in 2008, it regards the ethnic cleansing carried out in Georgia`s occupied regions - Abkhazia and South Ossetia - since 90ties until today`, First Deputy Justice Minister of Georgia Tina Burjaliani said.
The Georgian side has presented all photo, video proofs and documentations for Russian aggression to the International Court of Justice in Hague.
