Obligatory military drafting begins in Georgia. Under the order of the president, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure will coordinate the process of drafting.
The central drafting commission held its first session today. The representatives of the ministries of interior, defence, health care and education were attending the session. The commission is in charge of supervising the work of regional drafting commissions, which operate together with local governments.
The autumn drafting will last until December 30 2010.
