Movement For Fair Georgia objects to the growth of price on bread. Petre Mamradze of the party held a briefing in this regard today and called upon the government to take into consideration the problems of the vulnerable.
Mamradze said added 0.10-0.15 GEL to the previous price of bread would a serious problem for the poor. He recommends the government to allocate funds for the vulnerable to compensate the growth of price on bread.
`This sector of wheat import is monopolized by the government. Today bread is baked in Georgia with the flour imported earlier. Therefore, the growth of imported wheat price should reflect on the price of baked product in October-November as the experts have calculated,` Mamradze said.
