`Georgia will not begin relations with Russia from a new page - Parliament Speaker Davit Bakradze announced in the interview with the Russian online newspaper Vremia Novostey.
Davit Bakradze said Georgia was prepared to solve the problems in relations with Russia via dialogue; however, the negotiations would begin only after the Russian forces leave the territory of Georgia and after the issues on the agenda would be the prospects of the conflict regulation.
`It is very difficult to negotiate with the country, which has its diplomatic missions in Sokhumi and Tskhinvali and which has its forces without the consent of Georgian government there. These issues are unavoidable,` Bakradze said.
Speaker called the recognition of Abkhazia and so-called South Ossetia by Russia as a political mistake, which was not supported by any of the post-Soviet republics and the partner countries.
