Constitutional Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has arrested the deputy director of the Kobuleti Greening Service, Tamaz Papunaishvili. Ioseb Topuridze, the deputy head of the CSD, reported the details of the crime at the special briefing today. He said Papunaishvili was caught red-handed while taking bribe from a person, who wanted to install sideshows in the seaside park. The suspect took extorted 1,000 dollar from the businessman.
On the same charges, the worker of the Gori municipality Mariam Orjonikidze, who chaired the property management department and the governor of the village Karaleti, Zviad Berianidze, were also arrested. The extorted 2,000 GEL from a citizen for giving a land area in rent.
The crime committed by the three people includes 9 year-sentence. The Constitutional Security Department investigates the case.
