Fire fighters have resumed operation in the Racha mountains, where the disaster has destructed about 15 hectares of woods in the vicinities of the village Tchiora.
Defence Ministry helicopters and rescue crews are mbilized to extinguish all spots of fire in the woods, because the landscape made the works harder for fire brigades. There was a danger that the fire might spread on to the populated area, which is five kilometers away from the disaster zone, but the intensive works localized it.
