Georgian, Azerbaijan`s and Romanian energy corporations, Sokar, Rumgaz and Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation will sign an agreement about founding a new company, which will provide transit of natural gas from Azerbaijan via Georgia to Romania.
The ceremony will take place within an energy summit, for which the president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and president of Romania Traian Basescu arrived in Baku yesterday.
The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev hosted the guests in an informal environment. Afterwards President Aliyev held a tête-à-tête meeting with Mikheil Saakashvili and discussed bilateral projects and the issues of cooperation. Later the presidents were invited to a friendly dinner.
At the end of the first day of the visit, the three presidents walked in the streets of Baku and viewed the new and reconstructed buildings of the capital.
