A 78 year-old man, Nugzar Kvaratskhelia, who was severely beaten up by Russian soldiers in the village of Pichori, Gali district, yesterday, has been taken to Zugdidi hospital late last night.
The man says the soldiers requested IDs from him as he was travelling from Pichori to Zugdidi, but when he showed a passport of Georgian national, they beat him up. The relatives found the man with traumas and swellings after a few hours and hospitalized him to Zugdidi.
