Moscow accuses Tbilisi of violating international obligations. The statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry says that Georgian government has obstructed to the participation of Russian delegation in the session of the EU Parliamentary Assembly, which will be held in Tbilisi on September 16-17.
`It is clear that such policy has nothing common with democratic norms, EU standards and the rights of free travelling. Georgian governments` similar actions question the reasonability of carrying out any international events on the territory of Georgia,` the statement says.
Georgia ha denied entry to the Russian senior MP, the member of the PACE Legal Committee, Sergey Markov to Tbilisi for violating the Georgian law on occupied territories.
