Police detained Friday Irakli Tskhondia, 23, who is suspected of murdering his father in the town of Zugdidi in Western Georgia. The murder presumably followed the dispute that arose between the father and son.
The suspect told investigators that his father was under the influence of alcohol in consequence of what the conflict occurred between father and son. Lately the conflict resulted into the physical assault due to which severe lethal injuries were inflicted with a cold steel to the victim, who died due to the received traumas.
Police caught the suspect red-handed. He has already pleaded guilty. Investigation is underway under the clause of premeditated murder. If considered guilty, the suspect may face imprisonment from 7 to 15 years.
