President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has left for the United States where he will take part in the high-level debates of the UN General Assembly. President`s speech is scheduled at the General Assembly of the UN on September 23.
Within the visit, Georgian president will deliver a speech at the New York University. In the frames of the UN General Assembly, session on behalf of the UN Secretary General a special lunch will be held for the leaders and the heads of the governments. In addition, Georgian president will be invited to a reception, which the US president will hold for the UN General Assembly members.
Within the visit to the United States, Mikheil Saakashvili will hold meetings with the leaders of the Lathin America and African states.
