2010-2011 academic year begins in state universities on September 20. The Minister of Health and Social Care, Andria Urushadze and the rector of the State Medical University, Zurab Vadachkoria met with the first year students today and congratulated them on the beginning of studies.
The rector`s designate of the Tbilisi State University Aleksandre Kvitashvili and the Minister of Education Dmitri Shashkini met with the students in the administrative building today.
As for the Commercial universities, studies in some of them began last week and others will launch lectures next Monday.
There are 73 accredited universities in Georgia.
