Public Register Agency has announced that the cost of the bometric passports will be reduced. Instead of 100 GEL, the citizens of Georgia will have to pay 65 GEL for the passports, which will be soon obligatory to travel abroad. From January 2011 the citizens will no longer be allowed to travel abroad with previous passports, though they will be able to travel to Georgia from abroad.
