Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili held a meeting with the US Secretary of State Mrs Hillary Clinton within the official visit to New York. Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and the Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Asia, Philip Gordon attended the meeting.
The issue of the conversation was the upcoming meeting of the Georgian and US authorities in the frames of Georgia-US Strategic Partnership Charter, which will be held on October 6 in Washington.
Georgian Foreign Minister said they introduced several new initiatives to the Secretary of State in the education, health care and economic sectors
