Police officers have arrested the person who is suspected of killing and burning two women on #183 Aghmashenebeli Street, Tbilisi, yesterday. The police deciphered the video footage shot by the surveillance cameras installed on the opposite building and identified the killer soon. The suspect is Gia Toidze, who was an acquaintance of the family and who has already admitted to the crime. The police will release the video testimony later today.
The man killed two women - Tamar Chongladze, 33, and her niece Inga Tushishvili, 17, with a knife. The examination showed that each of the corpses had at least 20 injuries. The killer lit fire in the apartment to erase the traces of murder and escaped.
