Citizens have been assembling on Square of Heroes in the centre of Tbilisi since morning. They are lighting candles as they commemorate the heroes killed in the war for Georgia`s territorial integrity. Minister for Refugees and Accommodation Koba Subeliani also arrived at the square.

`These boys were fighting for freedom against the Russian occupation and Russian troops. This battle has not finished yet. We should continue their great deed, they were sacrificed to. This is reconstruction of the country and in the end return of the territories of Abkhazia and Samachablo`, Koba Subeliani said.

`In order not to have this day just as a tragic data. In order to turn this day into the day of restore of our humiliated pride, there still has left so much to do daily in Georgia`, leader of Christian Democrat Party Giorgi Targamadze said.
