Mamuka Areshidze, expert in Caucasian questions, commenting the speech of Mikhail Saakashvili on UN Assembly General said to GHN that the fact of invitation of Russian leaders by the President denotes consent to negotiations.
"I do not believe that the Saakashvili's invitation, Russians met with great enthusiasm. But the fact is interesting from the point of view of PR. Inwardly this denotes a consent to negotiations for talks on this matter, "- Areshidze said in conversation with GHN. Mamuka Areshidze said that Russian politicians and especially representatives of Foreign Affairs bodies are talking that the recognition of occupied territories is a disputable question, but this does not mean that Russia will change its decision. This is a question of discussion but not review, "- Areshidze said.
