Russian president Dmitri Medvedev explained the reason of his decision to sack Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov. The president was questioned about his decision during his visit to China.
He said he lost trust to the former mayor and that mistrust was a serious reason for president to dismiss mayor of the capital.
President`s administration has also made definitions. They say the president informed Prime Minister about the decision to sack the mayor before he had signed the corresponding decree
