The President will not have anymore the right for legislative initiatives. Such change was made in the Constitution. The amendments will be discussed on the Parliamentary session in the second reading.
Zurab Adeishvili, Justice Minister declared that in the Bill after the first reading important changes were made. The Bill now stipulates the recommendations from the Parliamentary majority as well form opposition.
"From now on the President will not have the right for legislative initiative, in the appointment of the head of General Staff, the government will take part. The self governing bodies will be accountable before the Parliament as well, "- Adeishvili said.
Pavle Kublashvili, Chairman of Parliamentary Law Committee said, the article 78 was amended, according to which President will not have the right to be a party member, unlike the legislation passed before.
