Andres Fog Rasmussen, NATO Secretary General met today with Georgian President in his residence. The meeting lasts 50 minutes.
The parties discussed NATO-Georgia cooperation questions. The talks touched an issue of Georgia's participation in ISAF operation in Afghanistan and preparation for Lisbon summit. Rasmussen once again underlined that the Alliance upholds the sovereignty of Georgia and territorial integrity of the country.
The parties expressed condolence in connection with death of 4 Georgian soldiers in peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan. The joint Press Conference was held. Rasmussen will depart from Georgia today.
