Municipal motor transport enterprises of three cities, Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkiv that will host the European Football Championship 2012 finals announced about their intention to purchase buses and trolleybuses from Lviv Bus Factory (Ukraine's west) according to a procedure of the purchase from one participant.
As information says about using a procedure of the purchase from one participant made public on Monday, in particular, Lviv municipal motor transport enterprise No. 1 intends to purchase 92 buses and 60 trolleybuses from Lviv Bus Factory, the finance source are the state budget funds.
According to the publication, a price of the LAZ offer is UAH 275 million.
Municipal commercial enterprise of the Donetsk City Council Donelektroavtotrans intends to buy from the Lviv Bus Factory 121 trolleybuses at the expense of the local budgets. A price of the offer is UAH 300.7 million.
In addition, Kharkivpass municipal enterprise published information about using a procedure of the purchase from one participant intending to buy 67 large trolleybuses LAZ E183 (or its equivalent) and 30 LAZ E301, as well as 10 buses LAZ 183 and one LAZ A5208.
A price of the LAZ offer makes up UAH 300.5 million.
According to information made public on September 20 on a system of the disclosure of information about the state purchases, Kharkivpass planned to buy 90 large low-floor trolleybuses LAZ E183 and three LAZ E301, as well as 55 large buses LAZ A 183 and one medium-sized LAZ A 5208. A price of the offer is UAH 299.8 million.
The cabinet signed a memorandum with Lviv Bus Factory (LAZ) on March 30 that evisages supply 2,000 buses and 500 trolleybuses to cities hosting UEFA EURO 2012 finals.
In Ukraine, Bogdan Corporation has also arranged production of low-floor trolleybuses, and buses. Such vehicles, in addition to Bogdan, are produced by Etalon and UkrAUTO corporations (small and medium class vehicles).
